US 10-year yield off three-week low after a pick up in core PCE data

The US Treasury yields edged up on Friday after the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation data. he personal consumption expenditures or PCE price index rose 2.6% in July on a year-over-year basis. Core PCE, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, rose 2.9%, marking a slight acceleration from June. This capped upside in equities and benchmark 10-year Treasury yield rose more than 2 basis points to 4.23%, rising from a three-week low.
